Lilly Post No. 66 charter, 1870.

Charter naming "Philip Eckel, Nicholas Grumback, Thos. Ryan, John Ziegler, Jacob Knopp, Peter Ohneth, Gustavus Sniper, John Kohl, George Shemel, Peter Kappesser, Adolph Engel and their associates and successors, late soldiers the Volunteer Army of the United States, and honorably discharged therefrom, do hereby constitute them a post of the Grand Army of the Republic to be known as post No. 66 of Syracuse."
